FreeGeek Chicago holds volunteer program hours from 11AM to 5PM on Sundays.

On Sundays, new volunteer orientation starts at 11.30AM and will last around 3 hours -- you should leave at least that much time your first day. Returning volunteers can come in any time before 4PM and stay for however long they'd like.

We accept recycling and donations and walk-in sales customers on OpenBuild days. However, staff and supervolunteers will be busy running the Earn-A-Box program, so we'd prefer if you stop by during our weekday hours (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 10am - 3pm) to purchase computers and parts or to drop-off a donation.
